1KOMMA5° reaches a $1.35bn valuation and plans €100m-plus for its energy AI
The Hamburg energytech unicorn is also weighing a move into the US, and keeps a future IPO on the table.
Hamburg-based energytech unicorn 1KOMMA5° has reached a valuation of $1.35 billion in its latest financing round and plans to invest more than €100 million in Heartbeat, its AI energy-management platform, in 2027.
CEO Philipp Schröder told Reuters the company is considering entering the US next year, citing strong investor interest, and that its 2027 financial performance will help decide whether and when to pursue a US listing. 1KOMMA5° shelved earlier US IPO plans in April 2025.
